FALL LEADERSHIP AND STATE OFFICER ELECTION CONFERENCE
October 12-13, 2008
Lodge of Four Seasons, Lake Ozark, MO

The Fall Leadership and State Officer Election Conference is designed to provide Missouri DECA members the opportunity to develop leadership skills through participating in the officer election process and by active involvement in Superpower Workshops, the Leadership Academy, or the Screening and Nominating Committee.

The Fall Leadership and State Officer Election Conference will be held October 12-13, 2008 at the Lodge of Four Seasons at Lake Ozark.

Chapters may bring members in the capacity of voting delegates  based on membership quotas included in the registration materials. Each chapter is also allowed to run one state office for each of the four offices of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Reporter.

Conference delegates also participate in the Sunday evening Mini-Competitive Events  which introduce competition in the Individual Series category of DECA's competitive events program. Top performers are recognized at Monday's Election Session.

On Monday, candidates participate in interviews with a panel of voting delegates known as the Screening and Nominating Committee. Voting delegates participate in one of three tracks: Workshops, Leadership Academy or Screening and Nominating Committee.

Conference registration is due TBD, and State Officer Candidate applications are also due TBD.
